Q: What kind of cluster support will be in VR Juggler 2.0?

Will VR Juggler apps still run as multiple threads in the same address space, or will they run in separate address spaces? Will distributed rendering be supported efficiently for a cluster of machines, each with a single graphics pipeline? I'd appreciate any information on cluster support, including who's working on it and what's left to be done / what help is needed.

A: VR Juggler will use separate address spaces between cluster machines, each with their own rendering pipeline.

Currently, Aron Bierbaum (aronb@vrjuggler.org) is in charge of the cluster code (also known as the Remote Input Manager).
